Roll-Up Garage Doors Built for Shops, Garages & Metal Buildings
Fast lead times. Heavy-duty steel construction. Multiple color options.
What TruGlide Doors Makes
TruGlide Doors, LLC manufactures heavy-duty steel roll-up garage doors — a single corrugated steel curtain that coils around a barrel above the opening instead of folding back into ceiling tracks. Every door is assembled in the USA at our facility in Mount Airy, North Carolina, from a minimum .017 in. (26-gauge) steel curtain, 18-gauge galvanized guide tracks, steel stamped drums with radial ball bearings, and a 12-gauge galvanized tubular axle.
Doors are built to order from 3 ft to 16 ft wide and 7 ft to 16 ft tall in seven standard colors, and are used on metal buildings, commercial shops and warehouses, self-storage facilities, sheds and outbuildings, and residential garages. Compare the two models on the products page, check dimensions in the size guide, review electric opener options, or read how roll-up doors differ from sectional doors.
We ship by freight within roughly 800 miles of Mount Airy — see shipping & delivery and our Southeast service area. Every door carries a one-year limited warranty.

Common Questions About TruGlide Roll-Up Doors
What is a roll-up garage door?
A roll-up garage door is a single steel curtain that coils around a barrel above the opening instead of folding into horizontal tracks. Because the curtain rolls up rather than running back along the ceiling, it needs roughly 18 to 20 inches of headroom and leaves the ceiling of the building clear.
What sizes does TruGlide build?
TruGlide builds doors from 3 ft to 16 ft wide and 7 ft to 16 ft tall. Common stock sizes include 5x7, 6x6, 8x8, 9x8, 10x8, 10x10, 12x12, 14x14, and 16x16. Anything in between is built to order at no extra design charge.
Are TruGlide doors made in the USA?
Yes. Every TruGlide door is assembled at our facility at 170 Holly Springs Rd., Mount Airy, North Carolina, using a minimum .017 in. (26-gauge) steel curtain and 18-gauge galvanized guide tracks.
Do you sell to homeowners or only to contractors?
Both. Metal building manufacturers, carport companies, shed builders, and self-storage developers buy at volume pricing, and property owners buying one or two doors get the same door and the same one-year warranty.
How far do you ship?
We ship by freight within roughly 800 miles of Mount Airy, NC, which covers the Southeast, the Mid-Atlantic, and parts of the Midwest. Will-call pickup at our Mount Airy facility is available by appointment.
Do the doors include hardware and an installation manual?
Yes. Every door ships with its tracks, barrel assembly, brackets, fasteners, and locking hardware, plus an installation manual. TruGlide does not provide installation labor, but our team answers installation questions by phone.
